Vehicle Mechanical Inspections (CSR 121)
This course is intended to provide a fundamental understanding of the basics of conducting a mechanical inspection on a vehicle involved in a collision. Individual systems and their components are discussed, and suggested topics for reporting are listed.
This course consists of one (1) video lesson and includes an assessment at the conclusion of the lesson.

Lesson Purpose: This lesson provides a fundamental understanding of the basics of conducting a mechanical inspection on a vehicle involved in a collision. Individual systems and their components are discussed, and suggested topics for reporting are listed.
Training Objectives: At the end of this lesson, the student will be able to achieve the following objectives in accordance with the information received in class:
1. Understand basic elements to consider when conducting a Post-Crash Vehicle Inspection.
2. Understand the vehicle systems to inspect during a mechanical inspection.
3. Understand specific ways to document if individual components were a contributing cause to a collision.
