Arson Indicators

Lesson Purpose:

Fire investigators have to be aware of and recognize several indicators of arson while they are conducting their scene investigation. This discussion addresses the common indicators of arson.

Training Objectives:

  1. Students will be able to identify arson indicators, passing an online assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
  2. Students will be able to recognize an ignitable liquid pour pattern, passing an online assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
  3. Students will be able to recognize an instance of multiple fires, passing an online assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
